Embody Yoga Class

What kinds of classes are offered?
We offer a variety of classes with a range of movement styles that include:
+ Yoga (THE WELL signature Embody, Empower and R+R classes, as well as traditional Ashtanga, Jivamukti or Iyengar-style classes)
+ Complete (THE WELL signature class)
+ H.E.A.T. (THE WELL signature class)
Not all class types will be available at launch, but stay tuned for an expanded schedule.
What training do instructors have?
Our movement instructors are all certified in their respective fields, whether personal training, yoga, Qi Gong or meditation and can offer a well-rounded approach for what mode of movement (or combination) can best support you.
What is the size of each class?
Due to COVID restrictions, most of our Movement & Fitness classes are held in our Mindful Movement Studio and are capped at a maximum of 12 guests plus one instructor.
What COVID safety precautions are being taken for fitness and movement classes?
The maximum capacity in the Mindful Movement Studio is 33% (a total of 13 people at one time). Use of the Private Training Gym is by appointment or class reservation only and no more than 4 people are allowed in the space at one time.
For classes that incorporate them, mats and props will be provided. These are sanitized/disinfected by a team member between every class. For mat sanitization, we use a Matsana machine which kills 99.9% of all germs.
When using the Private Training Gym, please wipe down all surfaces touched after each workout. Our team will be doing continuous wipe downs of high-touch surfaces as well.
We ask that you please bring your own vessel for water, which can be filled on the lower level of the space at our filtered water station.
*Please note: If we have a small group attending the class and everyone is able to stay 6 feet apart from each other, wearing a mask while in the Mindful Movement Studio is optional. Do you need to be fully vaccinated to come to THE WELL New York?
Based on new requirements in New York City, you must show proof of vaccination prior to experiencing our offerings in the space.
