We believe now more than ever, it is important to empower people to take greater agency for their health. As we continue to navigate the ramifications of COVID-19 together, we are closely following local, state and CDC guidelines and making changes to our operations to ensure that we are being methodical and thoughtful. The health and safety of our community and team members remains our utmost priority.
On this page we have outlined some of the precautions we are taking — guided by the expertise of our medical team and CDC best practices. As we learn more, we will update this page in real time. We invite you to check back often.

Hours of Operation
Our hours are modified to accommodate new guidelines.
Monday - Friday | 9am-7pm
Saturday - Sunday | 10am-5pm
Arrival & Health Checks
Check-in is hands-free and requires that all liability forms and waivers be filled out in advance. These forms will be shared via email ahead of your appointment.
We have established a single point of entry that is monitored by a member of our Guide Team.
Based on new requirements in New York City, you must show proof of vaccination to a Wellness Guide prior to experiencing our offerings in the space.
We ask that if you have experienced COVID-19 related symptoms, have tested positive or have been in contact with anyone who has experienced symptoms or tested positive within the last 14 days, that you not come to THE WELL New York.
+ Shortness of breath
+ Difficulty breathing
+ Sore throat or other cold symptoms
+ Muscle and joint aches
+ New loss of taste and smell
In addition to our already stringent CDC-approved cleaning practices and protocols, we are doing the following:
+ Nightly deep cleans in addition to thorough cleaning throughout the day
+ Wiping down all high-contact surface areas throughout THE WELL New York on an hourly basis
+ Hand sanitizer stations are set up throughout all areas of the space
+ All visitors must use sanitizing wipes to clean gym equipment after use
+ Dyson HEPA air filters are in use, automatically removing 99.97% of allergens and pollutants
+ As suggested by the CDC, air conditioning filters have been upgraded to MERV 13 filters
+ We are extending time between treatments to thoroughly sanitize and wipe down services
For the health and safety of our community and team members, masks are mandatory in the space. You are welcome to wear your own masks, but we will also have disposable masks on hand in case you forget. (It happens!)
Team members are provided with face masks and are required to wear them at all times.
We ask that you practice social distancing while with us. We have signage installed throughout to help you navigate all spaces at a safe distance.
Restaurant & Retail
Locker Rooms & Amenities
+ The Steam Room and the Dry Sauna are temporarily not available for use due to COVID-19.
+ There is a dedicated Wellness Attendant assigned to each locker room to clean and sanitize the space throughout the day.
Personal Training & Fitness
Team Member Policies
1. All team members are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless exempt based on an approved accommodation for a medical condition or religious belief.
2. All team members are required to wear masks during their shifts.
3. All team members are required to sanitize hands frequently following WHO, CDC and OSHA guidelines.
4. All team members are required to complete and pass rigorous COVID-19 best practice training — in person and online.
